"INVAFIT21" is an innovative European sports project about fitness for children, teens and young adults with congenital limb anomalies, amputations, dysmelia and functional limb limitations.

"INVAFIT21" had been designed for a worldwide distribution, with several separate issues to be released in preparation for the 2008 Beijing Paralympics. "INVAFIT21" is the first European project which guides young amputees to sports and fitness, and what was designed for their special needs.

Activities will include fitness, yoga, exercising, swimming, gymnastics and much more. Each issue contains professionally produced video and photos. The video will be in DVD format for reuse by the broadcast media. Photos will be provided in JPG format, suitable for use by the print media. We take applications from young sporters and non-sporters ages 5 to 25. "INVAFIT21" is produced by a professional 50-head team in Dresden, Germany, and various other countries. Also "INVAFIT21" provides several events, such as workshops, camps and an annual travel "INVAFIT21 On Tour".

We invite participants from all over Europe and the USA. With our multimedia editions and issues we want introduce "INVAFIT21" in Europe and worldwide. Our new registered sports association "INVAFIT21 Club e. V." provides social meetings, sport events and more. In 2010 we will hold Europes's first Youth Amputee Games in Dresden.

We need approximately twelve "INVAFIT21 Ambassadors" from around the world to support and spread the "INVAFIT21" idea on international competitions and to help promote the project with public and private agencies and groups who might benefit from receiving our materials. Various revisions of our concept and the project extension up to the Paralympic Games London 2012 gave us more room for new purposes and achievement of advanced aims from summer 2008. For this the project got a new legal form as "registered association" in fall 2008.

Following inspiring examples from the United States and Canada, the INVAFIT21 Club e. V. will host Europe's first youth amputee and dysmelia games "International INVAFIT21 Games Dresden 2010" next year. For this we invite 80 participants minimum, ages 10 to 25, from all over Europe and the USA. The INVAFIT21 Games will go for 4 days in late summer 2010, and provide various sports competitions at our two contracted sports centers. Also we'll have a number of social events at the games.
